Patrick Gee, DPT, CMP
Doctor of Physical Therapy
President and Founder

Dr. Patrick Gee founded G Sports Physical Therapy, Inc. to assemble the best sports and orthopedic physical therapists in the San Francisco Bay Area.  He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University and specializes in the rehabilitation of sports injuries of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and complex conditions of the spine. Dr. Gee was a member of the Wellness Team for the U.S. Open 2012 Golf Championships. He has over 10 years of experience helping injured rock climbers, mountain bikers, tennis players, and golfers return to their sports successfully. Dr. Gee is currently only one of four physical therapists to achieve the Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP) status in San Francisco; a highly skilled manual therapy concept to relieve pain and restore motion of any joint in the body. He has been a clinical instructor for physical therapy students from UCSF, UOP, USC, Columbia University, and Samuel Merritt University. Dr. Gee has also been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2001.

Justin Jellin, DPT, ART
Marketing Lead
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Justin Jellin earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at University of the Pacific, in addition to an undergraduate degree in Sports Sciences.  He has a special interest in treating athletes involved in running, skiing, and crew. Whether it is low back pain, ankle instability, or baby boomer generation injuries, Dr. Jellin enjoys helping all athletes return to their pre-injury level of performance.  He has been certified in Active Release Technique (ART), which is very effective in correcting overuse injuries in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Dr. Jellin was a practical examiner at UOP and continues his involvement on the University Alumni Board. Outside of clinical practice, he is an accomplished musician in both classical trumpet and guitar.  Dr. Jellin has been a member of the APTA since 2010.


Koji Okamoto, MPT, TPI CGFI, CKTP
Physical Therapist

Inspired by the Nagano Olympics and his passion for sports like golf, tennis, and snowboarding, Koji Okamoto earned his Master's in Physical Therapy from the College of Mount St. Joseph. He has been practicing for over a dozen years in orthopedics and specializes in the rehabilitation of sports injuries of the Lumbar spine, shoulder, knee, and ankle. He is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP) and Certified Golf Fitness Instructor by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI CGFI). He can help you improve your golf swing in addition to prevent future injuries. Not only is golf his passion, Koji was hand selected to be on the Wellness Team for the U.S. Open Golf Championship yearly since 2012. He was an engineer before he became a physical therapist and continues to apply his analytical knowledge to help his patients recover from their injuries and remain healthy. Koji has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2002.  


Kathryn Csete, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Kathryn Csete earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Duke University after studying Exercise Physiology at California State University at Chico. She developed her love of physical therapy after completing successful rounds of physical therapy for various sports injuries; discovering how rewarding and inspiring physical therapy was. She is certified in Applied Functional Science and uses functional movement analysis as a part of her treatment approach. She is passionate about working with a wide variety of patients, providing them with a specialized program in order to meet their specific goals. She is also a yoga instructor in San Francisco and enjoys treating patients who want to get back to yoga or want to start doing yoga during their rehab process. Outside of the clinic she enjoys running, playing soccer, playing tennis and doing yoga.


Arnelle Kodjo, DPT, ATC
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Arnelle Kodjo earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at Boston University after completing her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at the same institution. During her time at Boston University, she undertook a project aimed at improving injury prevention and wellness education in Boston Public Schools which furthered her interest in injury prevention for all athletes. She is interested in bridging the gap between rehab and performance with a focus on holistic and patient-centered care. She has practiced as a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2018, providing care for youth, collegiate, and professional athletes participating in a variety of sports. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and finding new TV shows to watch. 



Jenesis Imai
Practice Administrator

Jenesis Imai is the Practice Administrator for GSPORTS and works behind the scenes to make your experience better.  Jenesis is always happy to discuss your insurance or billing questions. She is originally from Hawaii and obtained a Master of Arts in Social Psychology at San Francisco State University in 2016. In her free time, Jenesis indulges in her plethora of interests by hiking to and photographing breathtaking scenery, drinking craft beer, dabbling in rock climbing and AcroYoga, and crafting.








Michael Ng, DPT, MFDc
Clinic Director
Doctor of Physical Therapy

 Dr. Michael Ng is the Clinic Director of our SF SOMA office.  He specializes in the rehabilitation of sports injuries of the shoulder, neck, knee, and foot.  He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from UCSF and San Francisco State University.  Dr. Ng was also a member of the Wellness Team for the U.S. Open 2012 Golf Championships.  He enjoys treating patients through the hands-on application of manual therapy techniques as an effective adjunct to customized therapeutic exercises.  He has been certified in Active Release Technique (ART), which is effective in correcting overuse injuries in muscles, tendons, and ligaments.  Dr. Ng enjoys helping athletes recover from throwing, swimming, volleyball, and running injuries.  He also teaches continuing education for physical therapists in the application of Myofascial Decompression.  He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2008.


Sabrina Yee
PT Aide

Sabrina is the physical therapy aide at the SF SOMA office. In 2021, she graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology: Exercise and Movement Sciences. She enjoys participating in many sports and activities, but swimming, basketball, and hiking are her favorites. As a team member of GSPORTS, she hopes to be a valuable contributor in helping patients get back to participating in the activities they enjoy.



Tony Green
Office Administrator

Tony is the Office Administrator at our SF SOMA clinic. He is an Oakland native who is excited to join the GSPORTS family.  He is happy to help out with scheduling and making sure that your office visit runs smoothly. During his free time, Tony enjoys hanging out with friends and doing various activities at his church, such as playing drums and teaching in the youth group.




Jacqueline Perez, DPT, OCS

Clinic Director

Dr. Jacqueline Perez is the Clinic Director of our Berkeley office.  She specializes in the rehabilitation of injuries from dance and performing arts. She has 20 years of dance training from ballet, to belly dancing, to ballroom and enjoys working with dancers of all levels and practices.  She obtained her Masters as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Saint Louis University.  Dr. Perez started her career in St Louis, Missouri, where she specialized in Myofascial Release and became the head PT at a chronic pain clinic.  Since moving to San Francisco, she has been practicing outpatient orthopedics with a focus on worker's compensation care.  Dr. Perez is a member of the APTA and has been a clinical instructor for students of several physical therapy schools, including UCSF and Marquette University. 


    Mark Quan-Tong, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Mark Quan-Tong obtained his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science at California State University, Sacramento. He then earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of St. Augustine For Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA where he established a strong foundation in manual therapy techniques. Dr. Quan-Tong has been a member of the APTA since 2017 and utilizes an evidenced-based practice approach when treating all of his patients to ensure they are receiving the best proven care. A Bay Area native, Mark is a passionate sports fan (Go Giants, Dubs, Niners, Hala Madrid!) and enjoys working out, traveling, playing the guitar, being a foodie, and hanging out with his dog, Benjie.


    Peony Chen
PT Aide

Peony Chen grew up in the Bay Area and recently graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior (NPB). Now at GSPORTS, she she is excited to guide you through your therapeutic exercises and modalities. Outside of GSPORTS, Peony enjoys figure skating, traveling,  and listening to music.

    Dylan Owens
PT Aide

Dylan Owens grew up in North Berkeley before pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Physiology at the University of California, Davis. Dylan has a passion for human movement and is excited to share that passion with the patients at GSPORTS. When not in the clinic, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, running, surfing, skateboarding, strength training, and playing sports. Dylan is always willing to share a cup of coffee and chat with friends. He looks forward to helping people recover and get back to doing what they love.
