We're excited to announce Dr. Jeffrey Chan as the team physical therapist for the Dogfish team this year! He specializes in the shoulder, spine, and knee with a strong interest in the rehabilitation of ultimate, running, and cross-fit related injuries. This is the second year that we have partnered with Major League Ultimate and we expect it to be a fun season again. Come check out the first game Saturday 4/9 at 4pm. Find more info here

Dr. Justin Jellin delivers guest lecture

Dr. Justin Jellin, our Program Director of RUNATOMY, delivered a guest lecture for the Anatomy Department at City College of San Francisco in February. Dr. Jellin is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and lectured on common musculoskeletal injuries for athletes, including ACL Tears, Rotator Cuff Tears, and Tennis Elbow. The course instructor, Dr. J. Lim, commented, “The students really connected with Dr. Jellin. Would love to have him back next semester.” Dr. Jellin has been a guest lecturer previously at UCSF and his next lecture will be at University of the Pacific.

We're excited to announce that GSPORTS PT will bring RUNATOMY to the Golden Gate Half-Marathon and 5K Expo!  Come stop by our table at the Expo on 11/7/15, the day before the big run, to learn how a video runing analysis can help you run better, faster, and safer.

Instructions: You must be a GSPORTS patient, staff member, or RUNATOMY client to participate in the free giveaway.  Please register for the November 8th, Golden Gate Half Marathon or 5K at www.runsf.com.  After you register, forward your email confirmation to [email protected].  You must include your full name and desired T-shirt size in the body of the email.  Deadline to register for a free performance T-shirt by RUNATOMY is Wednesday, October 14th.    Patients must be cleared by their physical therapist to run.  Pick up your performance T-shirt at your GSPORTS PT clinic the week before the event.  Wear it proudly on race day and have fun!

Presenation by Dr. Neil P. Pathare


Come meet a local sports medicine & orthopedic surgeon and learn about the pathophysiology, conservative management, and surgical management of the shoulder!

Dr. Neil P. Pathare specializes in arthroscopic procedures of the knee & shoulder. During his fellowship, Dr. Pathare assisted in the care of several profession and collegiate sports teams, including the New York Jets, the New York Islanders, and the Hunter College Hawks. Dr. Pathare is particularly interested in ACL reconstruction and shoulder instability. His award-winning research in these areas has been widely published and presented in conferences nationally.

Demand for expert care is growing, so we're looking for a part-time sports-oriented physical therapist and licensed PT assistant to join our team.  We're seeking someone who can commit to a fixed weekly schedule, with early morning or late afternoon options. Compensation is competitive and depends on experience. You must have a valid California state license to practice as a physical therapist or physical therapy assistant. Advanced certifications are a plus. Sports and orthopedic experience is preferred, but new graduates with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree are also welcome to apply.  If interested, please send cover letter and resume to [email protected].
